Cornelia’s thesis on microbial activity in permafrost soils stood out for its professional presentation, clear aims, and strong research engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Best PhD Thesis Award <\/strong>is awarded to Charlotte Neumann<\/strong> (Medical University of Graz). Charlotte’s innovative thesis on the woman-microbiome-child interplay effectively bridged clinical and fundamental microbiome science, demonstrating both scientific and societal impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Best Paper Award <\/strong>goes to Daniela W\u00f6ber<\/strong> (AIT Austrian Institute of Technology) for her paper on microbial communities in sugar beet storability.
