CoE Researchers Yoo Jin Oh and Peter Hinterdorfer from Johannes Kepler University Linz and colleagues from Sungkyunkwan University, Republic of Korea, have developed a revolutionary vertical DNA array platform.

This technology harnesses DNA’s self-assembly properties to create highly sensitive and reproducible functional surfaces, making the platform suitable for surface plasmon resonance (SPR), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and high-throughput biosensing applications.

The newly developed vertical DNA array platform is expected to be useful in advanced biosensors, diagnostic devices, and optoelectronic systems.
