Best PhD Thesis Award is awarded to Julia Krasenbrink (University of Vienna)! Julia’s thesis impressed with its breadth, methodological rigor, and insights into mammalian sulfoquinovose metabolism.
Best Paper Award goes to Goodness Osondu-Chuka (Universität für Bodenkultur Wien) for her innovative study on antibiotic tolerance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms, using 3D-printed biofilm models to challenge existing assumptions. You access the study here.
